These terms apply to the Kabolto game, the website kabolto.com and the game servers, made by Tarvo ("we", "us"). By playing, you agree to them. Questions: [email protected].
Your account
You can play without an account. If you create one, keep your recovery code and linked email safe: they are how you get back in on another device. Pick a nickname that isn't offensive or impersonating someone; we may rename or remove accounts that break this.
Fair play
Don't cheat, exploit bugs, automate play or tamper with the game or servers. Runs that look impossible are kept off the leaderboards, and we may remove accounts that cheat. Leaderboards may include house entries that fill empty slots while the game is new.
Purchases
Purchases (such as the full game, packs and cosmetics) give you a license to use that content in Kabolto; they have no cash value and can't be transferred. Nothing you buy makes you stronger on the leaderboards. Prices are shown before payment, which is processed by Stripe. If something you bought doesn't work, contact us and we'll fix it or refund you. Refunds required by law in your country are always honored.
Campaign
Backing the "Help Kabolto get on Steam" campaign is a purchase of the rewards listed for each tier, delivered as described on the campaign page.
Availability and changes
Kabolto is a game in active development: content, balance and features may change, and online services may be interrupted for maintenance. We'll try to give notice before shutting down any paid feature.
Liability
The game is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses or lost progress caused by events outside our control.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. Continuing to play after changes means you accept them.
